How quickly can care start?

It depends on the level of support needed, but we work quickly. After your first call we arrange a free assessment, agree a care plan and can often begin support soon afterwards. If a situation is urgent — for example a hospital discharge — let us know and we will do our best to respond promptly.

Do you provide dementia care?

Yes. We support people living with dementia and memory loss at home, with a calm, consistent, person-centred approach. We aim to provide familiar carers, structured routines and close communication with family.

Are your care plans personalised?

Every care plan is written around the individual — their needs, routines, preferences and goals. Nothing is off-the-shelf. Plans are reviewed regularly and updated as needs change.

Can family members stay informed?

Yes. Keeping families informed and involved is central to how we work. We agree how you would like to be updated and keep clear records of the care provided.

Are your carers trained and checked?

Our carers receive training for the care they provide and are recruited through proper checks, including enhanced DBS checks and reference checks, in line with safe recruitment practice.

What areas do you cover?

We provide home care across the North West — Lancashire (including Blackburn with Darwen, Preston, Burnley and Blackpool), Greater Manchester (including Manchester, Bolton and Bury), Merseyside (including Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral) and Cheshire (including Chester, Warrington and Crewe). If you are just outside these areas, please call us — we may still be able to help.

Is Community Quality Care registered with the CQC?

Yes. Community Quality Care Services Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care. As a newer service, we have not yet received our first inspection rating — you can view our profile directly on the CQC website.

How much does home care cost?

Costs depend on the type and amount of support in your care plan. We will talk you through this clearly during your free assessment, with no obligation to proceed. Please call us for an informal, no-pressure conversation.

Do you support both older and younger adults?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We support adults over 65 and under 65, including people living with dementia, physical disabilities and sensory needs.

Can you help after a hospital stay?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We support people returning home after a hospital stay, including short-term or respite arrangements to aid recovery. We are happy to work with discharge teams and other professionals.
